Jarol Martin was born in Cuba, in Santa Clara City, Villa Clara.  Throughout his years as a young boy, Jarol felt a great interest in the secrets of illusionism and performance magic.  At the age of nine, Jarol's stepfather teaches him his first magic tricks, marking the beginning of his career and discovering his extraordinary passion.

At the age of thirteen, Jarol entered “La Casa de la Cultura” (“The House of Culture”), a place where talent is encouraged, and he began his career as a magic aficionado.  He went on to  obtain numerous prizes and achievements, as well as to participate in a variety of activities within the community,  and at schools and competitive festivals.

After becoming well-known for his entertainment skills, Jarol was individually and personally selected by the Theater Group Santa Clara, to become part of a cultural project that would travel to some of the most unreachable and hidden places of the country.  He also was selected for a National Tour with “Disco Show de Rey,” becoming the youngest Artist of the Year at that time. 

For the following five years, Jarol worked in one of the most prestigious tourist hotels in his natal city called “La Granjita.”  At  age twenty two, he began performing nightly in the most popular tourist region in Cuba – Varadero, entertaining tourists from all over the world.  During this decade, Jarol created the show “Chicos Magicos/ “Magic Boys,” in which he combined both magic and dance performance.

 

In 2006, Jarol traveled to Belize, presenting his personal show “Magic of the Hands” in various theaters and on television.  He performed on San Pedro island, also known as “La Isla Bonita” of Madonna-song fame.

 

Traveling to the U.S. in 2007,  Jarol become part of the Las Vegas show “Tropicalisimo,”  a variety show that was presented in different nightclubs throughout the city.  In 2010, he began participating in “The Wonderground,” a showcase of unique magical entertainment, produced and directed by Jeff McBride (of the McBride Magic and Mystery School), where celebs such as Criss Angel, Robin Leach, and recent America's Got Talent winner Mat Franco have been in attendance.

In 2015,  Jarol perforned in Paris, appearing on the French television show  "Le Plus Grande Cabaret du Monde" (The Greatest Cabaret in The World), presenting the world premier of his new original act, Illumination. 


Between his travels, Jarol continues to perform on a regular basis at McBride's Wonderground event, which takes place every third Thursday of the month at The Olive Mediterraean Grill (on Sunset Road at Sandhill) in Las Vegas.
